Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned portions of the location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles; report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Livonia, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Your role will support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
