Allied Universal, Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Security Presence to monitor and deter incidents at a technology location. You will provide outstanding customer service, conduct patrols, verify credentials, and report observations to leadership and clients.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour; schedule includes multiple daytime and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials, direct guests according to site procedures, and report access irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and escalat[e] matters in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
