Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Security Officer Patrol at a manufacturing and industrial location. Qualifications

• Background investigations will be performed as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, entrances, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document entries and deliveries.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, deliveries, and unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
