Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in American Falls, ID. You will patrol and monitor a food and beverage location, provide excellent customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Position is full time with a pay rate of $13.33 per hour. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, performing site patrols, and enforcing safety policies in line with client

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations; may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking lots, and exterior grounds.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs of patrols and incidents.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, and emergencies to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity.
• Follow established procedures for reporting hazards, equipment concerns, and emergency conditions to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
