Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees through security post coverage.
• Monitor entrances, respond to alarms and requests for security assistance.
• Provide fire watch, parking enforcement, escorts when requested, and patrol interior/exterior areas.
• Investigate and report suspicious activity.
• Provide weapons detection by use of walk-through metal detectors, hand wands, and package x-ray where applicable.
• Maintain a focus on customer service as a core value of the Security Services Department.
