Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security/military/police experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• DOT Breath Alcohol Technician certification preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid and CPI training encouraged.
• Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Protects and serves patients, staff and visitors.
• Monitors facilities to maintain a safe environment.
• Investigates incidents or complaints on property.
• Completes reports accurately and timely; coordinates with local police and fire departments.
• Responds to Code Violet and conducts safety inspections.
• Provides physical intervention when needed to protect individuals from harm.
• Gives warnings and evicts violators when necessary.
• Administers Breath Alcohol tests (DOT certification required) and inspects safety equipment.
• Participates in drills and required trainings.
• Keeps up to date with OSHA and CDC safety procedures.
