Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by following security procedures and policies.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry/exit points; document activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns as required by procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points, following site procedures for trailers, packages, and authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
