Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Security Officer X Ray Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and support a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum: customer service experience preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, stockrooms, entrances, and parking zones.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns.
• Document incidents and patrol activity according to reporting procedures.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and completely in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
