FirstService Residential in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a part-time Security professional to ensure the safety and security of residents and guests across our properties.

You will monitor security systems, maintain logs, respond to emergencies, and patrol the premises. The role requires a Class D Security license and a Florida driver’s license, with weekend hours and supplemental benefits for part-time staff.

Formación

Description

Job Overview

As a Security professional, you are amongst some of the most valued associates at our properties. Your presence and knowledge reassure both residents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
• Accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Following safety procedures and strive to maintain a safe work environment.
• Patrol, walk property, and gatehouse.
• Report all property violations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.
• Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills andis able tointeract and communicate successfully to the residents and team.
• Possess and maintain a Class D Security license.
• Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
• Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and finger

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday, 8:00pm-4:00am

What We Offer

As a part-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
