Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in Emerado, ND. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a tech/engineering location.

The role offers weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. You will conduct routine patrols, verify credentials, complete shift reports, and escalate issues per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Background checks will be considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Complete detailed patrol, incident, and shift reports with clear communication to leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and engineering location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed patrol, incident, and shift reports, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
