Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and assist with directing authorized individuals per site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify unauthorized access and security concerns.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and assist with directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, irregular conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities and provide clear, professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
