Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Credential Validation. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and patrol the premises to deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role supports a flexible part-time schedule and uses our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires a TSA-issued TWIC, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Possess TSA-issued TWIC credential.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and control entry/exit per site rules.
• Respond calmly to incidents and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities and events according to reporting requirements.

Pay Rate: $13.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control events accurately, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
