Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility entry points, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with drivers, employees, and visitors, and support smooth operations through reliable service, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
