Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Verification in Seattle, WA. This role provides flexible, dependable hours with a fixed anchor shift and option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will ensure customer service, monitor site procedures, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining compliance with licensing, background checks, and drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $23.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
