As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal policy requirements. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat – 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun – 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
