Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver) in Wilmington, NC. You will protect client sites, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence while responding to incidents and reporting observations.

A valid driver’s license and compliance with background check and drug-screen requirements are expected. Position is part-time with a daytime/nighttime schedule and the ability to build a flexible work plan.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting observations.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other site documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
