Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a patrol route in High Point, NC. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence at transportation facilities.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. Minimum requirements include being 18+, HS diploma, background check and drug screen; licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations conducted per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
