Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Louisville, KY. This role involves monitoring loading docks, controlling access, and delivering excellent customer service, with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay is $18.75 per hour, with a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform. Applicants should be 18+ (21+ for armed roles where applicable), have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass background checks and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response as needed.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations promptly as required by site.

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, employee entrances, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
