• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving methods and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities in reports and logs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
