Job summary

Allied Universal in Seaside, OR is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for the graveyard shift. You will monitor guest areas, deter incidents, assist guests and staff with professional service while maintaining a visible security presence at a hotel and resort location.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of guest areas, parking areas, building exteriors, amenities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do
