Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer with First Aid/CPR certifications. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service at a technology-focused site.

The role requires 18+ for unarmed positions, a high school diploma, and background checks. Scheduling includes DayTime shifts; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred along with valid licenses where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include CPR certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Help support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related hazards observed during patrols.
