Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Dallas, TX. You will patrol facilities, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service to clients and visitors. A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of loading areas, entrances, parking, offices and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed.
• Prepare clear activity reports detailing conditions observed.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, parking areas, offices, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observed conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access, theft, or property damage.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
