Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Miami, FL. You will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

The role requires valid driver’s license and prior security experience, with a schedule that includes evening and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• As a condition of employment, background check will be conducted.
• A drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential and commercial common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned property locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
