Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Miami, FL. You will serve clients across commercial real estate locations, deliver customer service, and maintain a safe environment while patrolling interior, exterior, and perimeters.

The role supports a dynamic team and uses our Claim a Shift platform to manage schedules. Responsibilities include regular patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
