Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for the Mertztown, PA location. You will perform patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while following site procedures and policies.

The role offers flexible scheduling (DayTime and Night shifts) and opportunities to grow within a large security and facilities services organization. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report conditions, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
