Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness Security Officer. In this role you will monitor premises, maintain a visible presence, and provide welcoming service to employees and visitors while responding to incidents with integrity.

The position offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities to grow within our dynamic security team. The ideal candidate is at least 18, able to pass a background check and drug screen, and possess a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
