Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

You will monitor access points, conduct foot and vehicle patrols, respond to alarms with calm professionalism, and report observations according to site procedures. This role offers flexible scheduling and a path to broader opportunities within our security team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of technology facilities, building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor entry, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support the protection of technology infrastructure by reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and facility-related hazards according to established procedures.
