The role offers a flexible DayTime schedule with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. A high school diploma is required; background check and drug screen will be conducted. Guard card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and incidents to store management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations following site-specific procedures and documenting observations.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of designated areas while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and incidents to appropriate store management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and documenting observations as required.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of designated areas while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic retail environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
