Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness in Roseville, CA. You will patrol residential communities, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to residents and visitors while maintaining a visible, helpful presence.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts and/or emergency services when required.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive conduct.
