Job summary

Allied Universal in Johnstown, OH, is seeking a part-time Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver to protect clients across Retail/Malls and related sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and shoppers following security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, coordinating with site leadership and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with directions, escort requests, and other customer service needs.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site leadership and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by assisting with directions, escort requests, and other customer service needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
