Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report maintenance concerns, property hazards, and security-related issues to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
