As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting unusual activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
