Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will provide customer service, perform patrols of banking areas and entrances, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in accordance with site procedures.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 5 years of security experience, and adherence to background checks and drug screening. Work schedule includes Sat/Sun evenings.

Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Operations in Mount Laurel, NJ

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs accurately and in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
