Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for part-time, unarmed compliance patrol in Scranton, PA. The role focuses on monitoring healthcare facilities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible, customer-friendly security presence.

The ideal candidate will perform regular patrols, document observations, and follow emergency procedures while delivering excellent service to patients, staff, and visitors. Daytime shifts are available with a competitive hourly pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare-related areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
