As a Security Officer Part Time Site Verification in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support access control, screen individuals and materials, and help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related activity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
