Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at our Oklahoma City location. You will provide customer service, conduct regular patrols of transportation facility grounds, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

The role offers a part-time schedule with day and weekend shifts; a competitive pay rate and opportunities to use the Claim a Shift platform to explore additional roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other locations to identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access points, verify credentials and delivery information, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Help maintain an orderly transportation location by observing conditions, reporting hazards, and guiding authorized personnel and visitors.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
