As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
