Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur – 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM
• Sun – 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate hospital departments or services.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
