Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Hospital Protection in Hendersonville, TN. This role offers fixed shifts with optional earnings from extra shifts via a scheduling platform, designed for flexible, dependable hours.

Pay rate is $20.20 per hour. The position emphasizes excellent patient and staff service, with the potential to grow toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours weekly.

As a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Protection in Hendersonville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
