Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Buffalo, NY. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, and protecting clients across multiple industries, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible presence on site.

You will work a structured schedule with day and night shifts and may participate in the Claim a Shift program to explore new roles. A DoD Secret clearance is required or eligible.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregular conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.


• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accurate, timely details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
