Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) – Screening Records Specialist in Leesburg, VA to protect clients across industries at a technology data center. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening protocols.
• Screen individuals, credentials, packages, and materials entering the facility according to policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain entry screening documentation.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following emergency procedures.
• Perform regular patrols and monitor perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening protocols at a technology data center location.
• Screen individuals, credentials, packages, and materials entering the facility in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain accurate entry and screening documentation.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A college degree is required.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
