As a Healthcare Screener with Allied Universal, you will support a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating clearly with staff and guests. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while following site procedures. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a healthcare location.
• Screen visitors and vendors at designated entry points, verify identification and access authorization, and communicate visitor requirements in a professional manner.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor records, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed, helping to identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
