Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Screening Intake) in High Point, NC. You will screen visitors, assist patients and staff, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment at a healthcare location.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location according to established access requirements and communicate screening-related instructions.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel while helping deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate screening-related logs and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.

You will use computer or tablet tools to support daily operations, communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location according to established access requirements and communicate screening-related instructions in a courteous, professional manner.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel while helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location procedures.
• Maintain accurate screening-related logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
