Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen and verify access credentials, visitor authorizations, deliveries, and contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements; direct individuals to appropriate check-in and access-control processes.
• Monitor entry points and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, prohibited items, and other policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and security-related incidents.

Pay Rate: $26.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
