Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, shipping/receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and timely.

As a Security Officer Part Time Roving Patrol in Hampstead, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
