As a Security Officer Part Time Residential Credential in Royal Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail and mall location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will use communication and customer service skills to support security-related operations, report concerns, and help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, manage visitor and vendor access, and maintain accurate access-control records for the property.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, retail locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and access-control reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
