As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate professionally with guests and team members. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide welcoming, professional customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or vendors at a retail or mall front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.


• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as applicable, issue visitor passes, and direct guests to appropriate destinations.


• Answer incoming calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.


• Assist with reporting suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to help deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.


• Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.


• Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
