Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and assist authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following emergency procedures.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and communications; document incidents and observations accurately.
• Help deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and provide directions or assistance to authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and communications; document incidents and observations accurately in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
