Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) for the Chattanooga, TN area. You will patrol unarmed in a manufacturing/industrial setting, provide customer service, control access, and report incidents. Flexible Daytime shifts include a weekend rotation and a competitive hourly rate of $15.59.

This role requires attention to safety, clear communication, and adherence to site policies. Background checks and drug screening are part of the employment process, with licensing as required

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
