Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Visibility in Secaucus, NJ to provide reliable security coverage at a designated site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, talent, and production personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout media production, broadcast, office, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized visitors, deliveries, and staff in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced media location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Visibility in Secaucus, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
